This ReqOverflow, LLC Privacy Policy (Privacy Policy) describes the privacy and security practices that ReqOverflow, LLC Corporation, its subsidiaries, and affiliates (ReqOverflow, we, or us) employ when collecting, using, and handling (processing) personal information about you in connection with our online and offline recruitment activities. It also explains the choices you have in relation to these processing activities.
 

Personal information means all information that relates to an identified individual or to an identifiable individual. For example, your name, address, email address, educational and employment background, CV, and job qualifications. Personal information is also referred to as information about you.
 

This Privacy Policy was last changed on March 31, 2022. However, the Privacy Policy may change over time to comply with legal requirements or to meet our changing business needs. This Privacy Policy applies to ReqOverflow’s processing of personal information of candidates in connection with ReqOverflow career website and ReqOverflow recruiting activities more generally, conducted both offline and online via third-party websites.

We use personal information to respond to your requests or application; for recruitment and hiring purposes; to enable your use of, and to develop, improve, and secure, our recruiting activities and ReqOverflow, LLC products and services; and to comply with applicable laws.
 

Your personal information may be shared throughout ReqOverflow’s organization and with third parties such as service providers, related companies in the event of a reorganization, and government authorities as required by law.

They also can include vendor sites where ReqOverflow, LLC has invited you to participate in assessments, evaluations, or online interviews. Online video interviews are subject to supplemental privacy terms.


ReqOverflow, LLC may process the following categories of personal information for our recruitment activities as further described in Section 5 of this Privacy Policy:

-educational background
-employment background
-job qualifications and work eligibility, including your nationality, country of
residence, and visa and immigration status
-jobs in which you have expressed an interest or for which you would like to submit an application
-CV, resume or transcripts, and any supporting documentation attached to your resume such as copies of certificates and diplomas
-employment references
-compensation details, such as salary information, depending on your region

-background check information, such as a verification of your educational and 
professional background, and other relevant information subject to ReqCity, LLC policies and applicable laws
-information about your personality, competency, ability, and suitability for a
position
-certain types of sensitive personal information as described in Section 11 below

 

5. WHY AND HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
 

We use personal information for the following purposes:
 

-to communicate with you and respond to your requests or application
-for recruitment, evaluation, background screening, and hiring purposes
-to enable your use of the ReqOverflow, LLC website
-to analyze, develop and improve the ReqOverflow, LLC website, our recruiting
activities, and ReqOverflow, LLC products and services
-to maintain the security of the ReqOverflow, LLC website, systems, and networks
-to comply with applicable laws and regulations and to operate our business

-To communicate with you and respond to your requests or application

If you get in touch with us (for example, through ReqOverflow, LLC, website, contact forms on the Sites, contact with our recruiters or at events or via Sites) we process information about you to communicate with you about your application or job interests. For example, we may update you on the status of your application, inform you about new vacancies or invite you for
recruitment activities such as a phone or in-person interview.

 

-For recruitment, evaluation, and background screening and hiring purposes

 

We process information about you to connect the right candidate with the right job at ReqOverflow, LLC and evaluate whether you are the right applicant for a position. We may therefore include information about you in our recruitment databases to manage ReqOverflow’s candidate selection and recruiting processes. If you are selected for a position at ReqOverflow,
information about you will also be used to facilitate the hiring process. Please be aware that, prior to hiring you and in order for ReqOverflow, LLC to be able to extend an offer to you, you may be requested to complete a background check in accordance with ReqOverflow, LLC policies, and local law. background check information about you may also be specified in the applicable privacy notices and/or policies of our background check service provider.


ReqOverflow, LLC may invite you to participate in assessments to evaluate your suitability for a position. In evaluating your suitability for the position, ReqOverflow, LLC may access your assessment and receive results from the Sites.


-To enable your use of the ReqOverflow, LLC, website

 

When you choose to register with us to set up a ReqOverflow, LLC, website account, we need to process your personal information so that we can create and administer your personal account. Upon creating your account, we will send you your personal login information. This personal information enables us to administer your account (such as authenticating your access or
changing your password at your request).

6. FOR HOW LONG DO WE RETAIN PERSONAL INFORMATION?


ReqOverflow, LLC maintains your personal information for the following retention periods:
 

-If you have created an account on the ReqOverflow, LLC, website, your account information will be retained for as long as you maintain an active account. Your account will be deemed inactive, and your account information will be deleted, after five (5) years of inactivity.
 

-ReqOverflow, LLC will retain your personal information related to your
application for a position (such as your curriculum vitae/resume or the position to which you applied, assessment results) indefinitely from the date you applied (unless a longer or shorter period is required by applicable law).

 

To the extent permitted or required by law, or as requested by you, ReqOverflow, LLC may delete your personal information at any time. As a result, you should retain your own copy of any information you submit to us.
 

7. WHEN AND HOW CAN WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

Information about you may be shared globally throughout ReqOverflow’s organization. ReqOverflow, LLC employees and contractors are authorized to access personal information only to the extent necessary to serve the applicable purpose and to perform their jobs and are bound by appropriate confidentiality agreements.

technology and related infrastructure provision, background or employment check service providers, auditing, and other similar services) in order for those service providers to perform business functions on behalf of ReqOverflow.

 

-Relevant third parties in the event of a reorganization, merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, transfer, or other disposition of all or any portion of our business, assets, or stock (including in connection with any bankruptcy or similar proceedings).
 

-As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or other legal process,
when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to government requests, including public and government authorities outside your country of residence, for national security and/or law enforcement purposes. 
When third parties are given access to your personal information, we require them to abide by contractual, technical, and organizational measures designed to ensure that your personal information is processed only to the extent that such processing is necessary, consistent with this Privacy Policy, and in accordance with applicable law. Note that some of these third parties, such as our background check service providers may also maintain additional privacy policies and notices on behalf of ReqOverflow.

ReqOverflow, LLC is a nationwide business and personal information is transferred, accessed, and stored globally including in regions outside of the one in which you reside. If your personal information is transferred to a ReqOverflow, LLC recipient or third party in a state that does not provide an adequate level of protection for personal information ReqOverflow, LLC will take measures designed to ensure that your personal information is adequately protected.

ReqOverflow, LLC has implemented appropriate technical, physical, and organizational measures designed to protect your personal information against accidental or unlawful destruction or accidental loss, damage, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access as well as all other forms of unlawful processing (including, but not limited to, unnecessary collection) or
further processing.

Depending on your state of residence, you may have certain choices and rights in relation to our use of information about you, such as the right to access, correct and update, erase or delete, and obtain a copy of your personal information.

11. DOES REQCITY, LLC COLLECT SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION?


ReqOverflow, LLC does not request or require and asks that you do not send us any sensitive personal information, such as details concerning racial or ethnic origin, religion or philosophical beliefs, health, sexual orientation, or political affiliation in connection with your job application and our recruiting efforts. To the extent information you do provide to us contains sensitive
information, for example, details of your racial or ethnic origin, political opinions or beliefs, religious beliefs, membership in a trade union or political party, physical or mental health or condition, sexual orientation, commission or alleged commission of an offense or related 
proceedings, job evaluations or educational records, you explicitly authorize ReqOverflow, LLC to process this personal information as described in this Privacy Policy. The processing by
ReqOverflow, LLC of your voice recordings or image, or behavior, personality, or other psychometric information are subject to the Supplemental Recruiting Privacy Policy terms. Additionally, if you have a disability and would like ReqOverflow, LLC to consider any accommodation, you may provide that information during the recruiting process. However, we do not require applicants to provide this information in connection with their job application and our recruiting efforts, and if you choose to provide this information as part of our equal opportunity program, it will not be viewable or otherwise used in the hiring or selection process.


12. WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES?


You are responsible for the personal information that you provide or make available to ReqOverlfow, LLC and you must ensure it is relevant, truthful, accurate, and not misleading in any way. You must ensure that the information provided does not contain material that is obscene, defamatory, or infringing on any rights of any third party; does not contain malicious code, and is not otherwise legally actionable. Further, if you provide any personal information
concerning any other person, such as individuals you provide as references, you are responsible for providing any notices and obtaining any consents necessary for ReqOverflow, LLC to collect and use that information as described in this Privacy Policy.

17. SUPPLEMENTAL RECRUITING PRIVACY POLICY TERMS


In addition to the terms you accepted when you applied on  ReqOverflow’s Recruiting Site , you hereby agree to these supplemental terms of use and use of your personal information as set out in these Supplemental Recruiting Privacy Policy Terms (Supplemental Privacy Policy). Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in the ReqOverflow, LLC Privacy Policy (Privacy Policy) when you use a third party site to participate in an online video interview, you consent and agree to the use of your personal information as set out in this Supplemental Privacy Policy. Capitalized terms used but not defined herein have the meaning given to them in the Privacy Policy.


Information learned about you as a result of assessments or evaluations can include certain types of data about your personality, behavior, and suitability for a particular position. Personal information captured in a video recording may include personal information such as your voice and image. Sensitive personal information also includes information revealed in a video interview such as racial or ethnic origin, religion or philosophical beliefs, sexual orientation, membership in a trade union, political affiliation, physical or mental health or condition, commission or alleged commission of an offense or related proceedings or job evaluations or educational records. ReqOverflow, LLC does not require and asks that you do not provide such types of personal information. If you do not consent to your personal information being used as
set out in this Supplemental Privacy Policy, do not apply through this process. If you would like ReqOverflow, LLC to consider any accommodation, please contact ReqOverflow, LLC at best email address, and ReqOverflow, LLC may offer an accommodation, such as a phone interview, in accordance with the Privacy Policy. ReqOverflow, LLC will store a copy of the interview in accordance with its retention policies but will not retain the video for longer than is necessary to evaluate a candidate or as is otherwise permissible by applicable law. You understand that ReqOverflow, LLC will not advance all
candidates nor will submission of a video intefrview guarantee a job offer. ReqOverflow, LLC reserves the right to make an offer or deny an interview, in its sole discretion, to candidates who submit an interview through this process, or who elect an accommodation to interview through phone or in some cases, in-person with an ReqOverflow, LLC recruiter. Any candidate, who
ReqOverflow, LLC determines in its sole discretion, has tampered with a video, shares unlawful or prohibited Content, or violates ReqOverflow’s Terms of Use, understands that all Content may be used as set out in the Terms of Use, including, to provide Content to law enforcement.
